Bodegas Stratvs
A young bodega built around a very old building.
Stratvs began making wine in 2008 inside Barranco del Obispo, the ravine that runs along La Geria toward Timanfaya, and folded a traditional Canarian farmhouse from 1730 into the heart of the estate — today the gourmet shop. The vines are tended in zocos, the same hand-dug volcanic craters used across the region, but the cellar is contemporary: stainless-steel fermentation, careful temperature control, and a portfolio that runs from bone-dry Diego whites to sweet Moscatel. The setting — black lapilli, the cone of Timanfaya on the western horizon — does as much of the work as the winemaking.
