3 bodegas in Tinajo
Tinajo
Tinajo lies on the north flank of the 1730–1736 Timanfaya eruptions — the municipality whose territory the volcanoes overran most completely. Its vineyards work the same lapilli geology as La Geria but at lower elevation, on the lava-edge fields north of Tinajo town and in the surrounding pagos of La Vegueta and Mancha Blanca. Three small bodegas farm here — Bodegas Guiguan, Bodega Tinache and Bodegas Reymar — keeping a quieter, family-scale tradition alongside Tinajo's broader geographic claim as the gateway to Timanfaya National Park. All three sit within the DO Lanzarote zone, working both the white Malvasía Volcánica and the red Listán Negro permitted by the appellation.
